After initiating lights and sirens the Jeep failed to stop and drove off onto Catawissa Street toward Ryan Township at a high rate of speed.
The pursuit continued into Ryan township onto State Road then onto Brockton Mountain Road to the Burma Road.
While on the Burma Road the Jeep drove into oncoming traffic forcing cars off the roadway.
The Jeep continued then turned onto the Morea Road toward the Vulcan where the it continued toward Mahanoy city and turned into Buck Mountain.
The driver of the Jeep, identified by police as Kayla Kaminsky, 26, of Barnesville, almost struck two police vehicles while on Buck Mountain Road then continued onto a dirt road in the mountains where police lost sight of the vehicle.
The jeep was found in the woods, wrecked up against a tree still running with no driver in the area.
Kaminsky has multiple warrants for her arrest out of the Schuylkill County District Attorney's office, Sheriff's office and Adult Probation office.
Kaminsky is facing numerous charges for Friday’s pursuit by the Schuylkill Township police including felony fleeing and eluding as well as other charges that will be filed at Magisterial District Judge Plachko's office in Port Carbon.
Assisting with the pursuit were police from West Penn Township, Ryan Township, Mahanoy City, Mahanoy Township, Butler Township, Ashland, Shenandoah, and the Pennsylvania State Police from Frackville.
