A fire damaged a home in Minersville on Wednesday morning.
Around 8:15am, Wednesday, emergency personnel were dispatched to 502 Pottsville Street, Minersville for a possible house fire.
Further information stated that there was fire in the kitchen and everyone was safely out of the home.
As Fire Chief Eric Eichenberg arrived on scene, he reported a working fire in the rear of a duplex home.
Units from Minersville, Pottsville, and Branch Township are at the scene along with the Schuylkill Haven RIT.
As 8:48am, the fire was marked under control with extensive overhaul taking place.
The American Red Cross was called for 3 adults, 1 child, and a dog that lived in the home.
A State Police Fire Marshal was also requested to the scene.
