A warrant has been issued for a Pottsville man for an incident in West Mahanoy Township over the weekend.
According to court papers filed by the West Mahanoy Township Police Chief Marvin Livergood, on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, just before midnight, he was dispatched to a reported domestic incident in the 200 Unit Block of Ohio Avenue in Shenandoah Heights.
The caller told Schuylkill County dispatch that 38-year-old Adam Siket, of Pottsville, was armed with a gun and was heard saying "You are going to die bitch".
Chief Livergood responded and found broken glass in front of the address.
Speaking to the victim, Chief Livergood learned that she had broken up with Siket a few weeks ago. She had just returned home from vacation and found Siket in the home where he began to yell and argue with her.
After locking herself in a bedroom, Siket allegedly burst through the door and grabbed her. He then held a loaded Remington .350 to her head and told her she was going to die.
At some point, she distracted Siket where he dropped the gun, and she was able to get away. Siket then stole her other handgun, a 9mm, threw a table through a glass storm door, and fled.
Siket has been charged with aggravated assault, theft by unlawful taking, simple assault, making terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person through Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker's office.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the West Mahanoy Township Police Station 570-462-2360 or Non-Emergency Schuylkill County Com. Center 570-462-1991.
