Linda L. Gottschall, 82, of Wayne Twp., Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023.Born on February 12, 1941 in Paradise, Pine Grove Twp., she was a daughter of the late Karl K. and Iva A. Heinbach Krammes. Linda was married to Joseph H. Gottschall, Sr. in May 1964 and she was the daughter-in-law of the late Joseph J. and Angela Klitsch Gottschall.
She was a 1958 graduate of Pine Grove High School. She was affiliated with the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren in Pine Grove and then joined St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven later in life.
Before marriage, Linda worked for several years at Argo Knitting Mills in Schuylkill Haven. After marriage, Linda moved to Emmaus, with her husband where they lived for 30 plus years working and raising a family. While living in Emmaus, Linda was a homemaker & school cafeteria worker at the high school & Jr high school during the time her children were in school. Later she worked for several years in the mailroom and customer service at Rodale Press Inc. in Emmaus. Linda & Joe moved back to Schuylkill County in 1996.
Linda loved spending time with her family and friends and traveling. She was a member of the Tremont Senior Citizens and she loved attending the Friday night jams at the Pine Grove Lions. She also loved getting together often with friends & family to play cards.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 45 years, Joseph, Sr.; a sister Sue Hesser, and a brother, Joseph Krammes.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory and wife Dawn of Wescosville, Joseph Jr. and wife Sheila of Emmaus; a daughter, Holly Gattone of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Cody Gattone, Megan, Delaney, Mason, and Molly Gottschall; a sister, Jane Spink of Auburn, nieces and nephews; and her companion Dale Krause of Rock.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., Pine Grove. Calling hours will be from 2pm-4pm with funeral service at 4pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the 5 P Society, P. O. Box 268, Lakewood, CA 90714-0268 in her memory.

Terry W. Frantz, 85, of Williamstown, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the UPMC Community Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.
He was born in Williamstown on August 2, 1938, a son of the late Roy and Helen Drey Frantz.
Terry was a 1956 graduate of Williamstown High School. He was a retired tool and die operator at the former AMP, Inc., Williamstown. He was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church.
Terry enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, bowling, gardening and vacationing in Delaware. He was a former Boy Scout Master and Little Rams’ assistant football coach.
His life revolved around his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he dearly loved.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Pearson, Rydell Frantz, and Lorraine Schylaske, and one brother, Roy Frantz, Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Yvonne L. Artz Frantz; one daughter, Gay Kreiser (Larry), Fredericksburg, and two sons, Derek Frantz (Deb), Williamstown, and Lawn Frantz (Michele), Lancaster; 4 grandchildren, Nicole Horne (Brian), Mohnton, Kyle Kreiser (Amy), Fredericksburg, Jason Frantz (Courtney), Pine Grove, and Emily Frantz, Harrisburg; and 4 great grandchildren, Avery Horne, Brynnley Kreiser, Graham Kreiser, and Aria Frantz.
A Celebration of Terry's life will be held in the Spring of 2024. Memorial donations can be made to the Children’s Miracle Network, Hershey.

Charles Lewis "Chuck" Lindenmuth died peacefully surrounded by family at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville on December 9th, at the age of 52.
Chuck is survived by his loving parents, Francis and Nancy Lindenmuth; his daughters, Tiffani (Robert) Hancock and Charli Lindenmuth; his brothers, Bryan Lindenmuth and Keith (Melissa) Lindenmuth; his sisters, Penny (James) Kulenguskey and Nicole (William) Miller; his grandchildren, Caidyn, Ethan, Asher and Everleigh and his loyal dog, Fang.
Chuck was born on July, 5th 1971 in Ashland, PA. He graduated from North Schuylkill High School in 1989, and served in the Army as an infantry man in the 101st Air Borne, earning the Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Sharpshooter Badge M-16 Rifle, Sharpshooter Badge Hand Grenade, Army Lapel Button, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Air Assault Badge, and the Saudi Arabia Kuwait Liberation Medal.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 15th at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. Visitation with Chuck's family will be held from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. Chuck will be laid to rest during private interment services at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the funeral home to defray cost.

James R. Heffron, 63, passed away, Friday, December 8, 2023 at his home of Schuylkill Haven, Pa. He was born May 18, 1960, the son of the late James and Lois Heffron.
James or “Butch”, as he was known by family and friends, was a graduate of Nativity BVM high school in Pottsville. Following graduation, he went on to achieve his associate degree in business from Penn State University. After school, he married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Trenosky and they remained married for 42 years.
A hard worker all his life, James was the owner/operator of two local businesses: Haven Auto in Schuylkill Haven and The Knight’s Pub Bar & Restaurant in Orwigsburg. He loved the interactions with the community, being a business owner brought. Butch will be remembered for his knack for storytelling, sharing embellished memories of skiing, fishing, and camping trips with family and friends. Butch was an ardent supporter of his children's and grandchildren's sports endeavors, pushing them to be their best. In addition to his love for biking, weightlifting, and his beloved dogs, he will be remembered for his immense generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lisa A. Heffron, and nephew, Marc H. Tobash. Surviving are his children: Lara Heffron of Schuylkill Haven, James Heffron husband to Kelly of Crofton MD, and Megan Foose wife of Timothy of Pottsville. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ayden Flannery, Dylan and Brody Foose, Owen, Landon, and Hadley Heffron, his siblings; Lisa Tobash, wife of Dennis of Orefield, PA, Michael Heffron, husband to Nancy, Thorndale, PA, Melissa Angelo of Auburn, Chris Heffron, husband to Kelly of Honesdale, PA and Amy Heffron of Orwigsburg and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Schuylkill Haven on Saturday December 16, 2023 at 9:30AM Funeral Mass will follow the visitation beginning at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at St. Mary Star of the Sea Cemetery in Minersville. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven has been entrusted with services.
