A search warrant by US Marshals in Ashland on Thursday led to an arrest of a wanted man.
According to Ashland Police Ger Daley, on Thursday morning, just before 11:00am, the police department was notified by US Marshals that they were serving a warrant at 1014 Spruce Street. The individual they were looking for was not at the location, but during the search, Jeffrey Sartori, of Ashland, was found hiding under a bed upstairs.
Sartori was found to have outstanding warrants from York and Cumberland Counties which included:
York County
- 1 count flight to avoid apprehension
- 1 count of retail theft
- 1 count of trespassing
Cumberland County
- 28 counts of retail theft
- 1 count of organized retail theft
- 1 count of dealing in proceeds.
Sartori was taken into custody by Ashland Police and transported to Schuylkill County Prison.
