The Citadel
Grayson Dewald of Orwigsburg is among the 100 cadets recognized for this outstanding work during the Fall 2023 semester at the Citadel.
The list is a combination of the dean's list and the Commandant's Distinguished List and is composed of cadets who contribute the most to their companies while maintaining excellent military and academic records.
Grayson was also among the 650 cadets and students to achieve gold star recognition.

University of Alabama Deans List
A total of 13,950 students enrolled during fall semester 2023 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president's list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). These driven students are making waves across UA's more than 70 undergraduate programs and 12 colleges and schools.
The UA dean's and president's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students.

- Averi Creasy of Frackville, majoring in Business Administration
- Colby Criswell of Auburn, majoring in Criminal Justice Administration
- Ashley Fedor of New Ringgold, majoring in Healthcare Management

- Isabella Varano of Pottsville was named to the President's List (Highly Distinguished). Varano is majoring in Biology and Public Health.
- Lauren Ferhat of Pottsville was named to the Dean's List (Distinguished). Ferhat is majoring in International Studies.
To qualify for Dean's List (Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.500 or higher and complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

University of Iowa Dean's List and President's List
She was also among the more than 950 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the president's list.
Hummel is an undergraduate - fourth year student in Iowa's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and is majoring in English and Creative Writing.

Frostburg State University Dean's List
To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale.

The following Schuylkill County students have been named to the University of Scranton's Dean's List for the Fall 2023 semester:

- Anthony Muclada of Frackville, a junior secondary education - citizenship and history major in the University's College of Arts and Sciences.
- Kerrigan G. Digris of Frackville, a freshman kinesiology major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
- Sierra R. Giranda of McAdoo, a senior nursing major in the University's Panuska College of Professional Studies.
