A fire destroyed a business and home in Frackville on Thursday.
Just before noon, Thursday, emergency personnel were called to the area of South Lehigh and Arch Street for a possible fire.
The first personnel on scene arrived to find heavy fire coming 262 and 264 South Lehigh Street. The properties included a counseling business and an apartment.
Four people were reported to be home at the time of the fire and escaped.
Units from Frackville, Englewood, Mahanoy City, Shenandoah, Altamont, and Minersville responded to the scene.
By 3:10pm, Thursday, the scene was clear. The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshals were at the scene to investigate, and the American Red Cross was called.
