As with the Snowdrops contestants, the Snowflakes showed off their personalities to the Greater Winter Pottsville Carnival judges through a fashion show.
The fashion show comprised two distinct segments: a walk down the runway and a question-and-answer session. The event was held at St. Nicholas Hall in Primrose.
Divided into three distinct categories, competitors in the Winter Carnival faced off in the Snowdrops category, reserved for participants in 2nd and 3rd Grade, and the Snowflake category, which featured girls from the 11th grade.
As the Winter Carnival festivities continue, the spotlight now turns to Friday night's Carnival Night and Queen Fashion Show at St. Nicholas Hall. The Queen Category beckons eligible women who are high school graduates, unmarried, and fall within the age range of 18 to 29.
Anticipation is building as the grand reveal of the 2024 Snowdrop, Snowflake, and Queen is slated for the much-awaited Pageant on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, hosted at Pottsville Area High School.
The 2024 Greater Pottsville Winter Carnivals marks the 55 running of the event. This year's theme is Viva Las Carnival.
Below are photos of the Snowflake contestants. Snowdrops were featured in a separate story.
