Over 2,300 homes in Schuylkill County are without power Sunday afternoon.
As winds pickup up, first responders and PPL crews are busy dealing with downed trees, utility poles, and wires.
As a result, numerous power outages have been reported around Schuylkill County.
As of 2:30pm Sunday, PPL is reporting 2,317 homes are in the dark. The largest outage is being reported in Pine Grove Township with 1,233 outages.
Smaller outages are being reported in:

- Butler Township - 21
- East Brunswick - 159
- East Norwegian - 17
- Frailey Township - 8
- Hegins Township - 24
- Hubley Township - 1
- North Manheim Township - 108
- North Union Township - 3
- Orwigsburg - 1
- Porter Township - 79
- Pottsville - 44
- Rush Township - 22
- Ryan Township - 42
- Schuylkill Township -7
- South Manheim Township - 4
- Union Township - 94
- Washington Township - 2
- Wayne Township - 186
- West Brunswick Township - 84
- West Penn Township - 79
PPL is reporting that these outages will be repaired by 3:00pm, Tuesday, January 16th, 2024.
