Born Friday, October 19, 1956 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late William F. Fredericks, Sr., and Dorothy I. (Reigel) Fredericks. Dale was also predeceased by; brother, William F. Fredericks, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Shannon Martin; step son, Joseph N. Kamant
Surviving are; daughter, Becky Fredericks wife of Robert Hartranft; sons, Anthony Hockenberry, Dale John Fredericks, Robert William Fredericks and his wife Melissa Blank; brothers, Pat Fredericks and his wife Jackie, Roy A. Fredericks and his companion Nancy Parker; sisters, Sandy Paulus wife of Edward, Jackie Oakes, Brenda Coston wife of Gaylord; grandchildren, Sophia, and Zoe Hockenberry, Ashley Hartranft, Hayley Martin, Dale "DJ" Fredericks, Dakota Fredericks, Conner Fredericks, RJ Fredericks, Emily Hartranft, Kandance "Katie" Fredericks, Abby Fredericks, Lucas Hartranft, Chase Fredericks, Adrianne Fredericks, Aliciana Kamant, ; great grandchildren, Peyton Hartranft, Paisley Smith, Maverick Smith. Many nieces and nephews also survive Dale.
Dale attended Tamaqua Schools, and drove Coal Truck for many years. Dale was a long time member of the South Ward Fire Co., and was a Cub Scout leader for over 25 years. An avid outdoorsman, Dale liked to hunt, fish, and enjoyed boating with his family. Dale ran the Pit Crew for his son's racing team which competed at Mahoning Speedway. Dale took great pride in his Gold Wing motorcycle spending many days cursing the countryside.

Stephanie M Lyons, age 71, of Hegins, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born on Wednesday, May 28, 1952, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Frank Starzie and the late Dorothy M Dietrich.
Stephanie and her late husband were team drivers for Mercer Transportation.
She enjoyed painting ceramics, crocheting, was an animal lover, and loved spending time with her family.
Her husband, Harold L Lyons, passed away in 2021.
She is survived by a son, Francis Bixler of Lykens; two daughters, Stacy Smith of Williamstown and Sherry Hoffman of Arizona; five step sons, Michael Robbins of Kansas, John Robbins, Harold Lyons, Jr of Hughesville, Kenneth Lyons of California, and James Lyons of Florida; three step daughters, Kyra Snell of Ohio and Lori Bragg of Maine; and Barbara Miller of Ohio; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her ex husband, Don Bixler of Hegins; a brother, Stephen Klein of New Jersey; a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Born in Tremont Township on February 24, 1944, she was a daughter of the late M. Luther & Elva Lengle.
She was the widow of Wilson "Bud" Rhine.
In addition to her parents and husband, Bernice is also preceded in death by her sisters: Arlene Gilbert & Mae Lengle, step-daughter, Nancy Yob, great-grandson, Kaden Krause, and nephews: Warren, & Jason Gilbert.
She was a graduate of Tremont High School, and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Ravine.
Bernice retired as an accountant for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Michele Yob, Donna (Dave) Garland, & Michael Yob, Jr. (Yvonne), great-grandchildren: Christopher (Jessica), & Nicholas (Kara) Krause, Melissa (Barry) Miller, Marcella Reese, Elizabeth Reber, Rebecca (Heath) Rowe, Joseph, & Kevin Shire, Saarah (Vinny), Michael III (Sydney), Matthew, & Ryan Yob, & Samantha Thompson, and great-great-grandchildren: Hunter, Matthew, Kole, Koen, Colton, Calen, Carson, Leland, Easton, Elliot, Cooper, Jaxson, Sienna, as well as Edelyn, expected in February 2024. Bernice is also survived by nephews: Bruce Gilbert, Tanner Dierich, Alex, & Max Lucas, and nieces: Mindy Dierich, Kristi Lucas, Julie, Lilliana, & Charlotte Kahn.
A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 6th at Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to St. Matthew Lutheran Church Ravine.

He was born January 17, 1956 in Pottsville a son of the late Russell and Ella Strohecker Cook.
Tinker was a jack of all trade and had numerous job's throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers, William, Ronald, Paul, Fenton, Cyril, James and Robert.
Surviving are his companion of 40 years Karen Hoy; his children, Shaun Hoy, and his wife Tanya; Kimberly Cook and her companion Shawn Hautz; Russel T. Cook, Jr and his companion Dana Aliberto; grandchildren. Nicholas Hoy, Rachael Hoy, Zachary Smith, Bradyn Smith, Taylor Cook, Ryleigh Cook, Payton Cook, Cole Cook, Kaleb Aliberto; great-grandchildren, Liam Smith, Elizabeth Hoy, Brynlee Smith; nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at the convenience of the family at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville.
