A death investigation is underway after a body was found in East Norwegian Township near St. Clair on Thursday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven Crime Unit, around 10:45am, Thursday, Troopers were contacted by the St. Clair Police Department for a deceased person found in the area of Tunnel Road in East Norwegian Township behind the Empire Beauty School.
As of an update Thursday afternoon from Troopers, the deceased person has not been identified. The male victim is described as wearing a light gray sweatshirt, white t-shirt, dark gray jogging pants, tan and gray size 11 men's shoes with white soles and gray socks. He is described as being 5'10" to 6'02" tall and weighing approximately 175-225 pounds.
