A Pottsville man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after an incident involving slashing tires and making threats.
While responding to this location, officers were redirected to the 200 block of West Market St in reference to the same disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers located both Pedro LaSanta-Cabrera, 36, of Pottsville and a 44-year-old Schuylkill Haven man in this area.
The Schuylkill Haven man advised officers that Cabrera sliced one of his vehicle tires minutes earlier then challenged him to fight while holding the knife in his hand prior to fleeing on foot.
Officers were able to detain Cabrera in an effort to investigate the matter further and received information from a witness who provided the same version of events as the victim provided to the investigating officers.
Pedro LaSanta-Cabrera was charged with Terroristic Threats and Criminal Mischief and was arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew Serrina and remanded to the Schuylkill County Prison after being unable to post $5000 straight cash bail.
