Beverly K Edwards, age 79, of Hegins, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at her residence.She was born on Friday, February 2, 1945, in Mechanicsburg, a daughter of the late Kenneth F Moore and the late Carolyn M (Maurer) Moore.
She is survived by her husband John Q Edwards, Jr, and a son, Jeffrey A Cassel of Mechanicsburg.
As per Beverly's wishes there will be no services.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc., Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

Michael A. Notaro, Jr., 84, formerly of Kelayres, passed away Thursday morning at the Pavilion at St. Luke Village, Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Michael A. and Frances (Marsicolla) Notaro, Sr.
He was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
Prior to retiring, Michael was employed as a welder at Foster Wheeler, Garland Industries and later at Northeast Power Co. Michael was also a tax collector for Kline Twp., for over 44 years.
In his younger years, he was an avid hunter. He enjoyed many trips with his wife, Martha, to Atlantic City and local casinos. Michael most enjoyed spending time with his loving family and grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Martha E. (Frask) Notaro; brother, Frank Notaro; and sister, Joan Ann Wedgie.
Surviving are his daughters, Mary Frances Verrastro and husband Thomas, of West Hazleton; Michele Notaro, of Hazleton; and Margaret Rose Notaro, of Hazleton; grandchildren, Angela Dawit and husband Nicholas; and Jaclyn Korinchock and husband Adam; great-grandchildren, Claire and Jack Korinchock; brother, Peter Notaro, of Kelayres; and nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6. The Rev. Msgr. William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Church of All Saints, McAdoo. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo.
A calling hour will held Tuesday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in the church.
The Damiano Funeral Home, McAdoo, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Janet M. Hendricks, 90, of Keefer Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at home.
Born on November 11, 1933 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lucia Mease Adams.
She was a 1952 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Janet was a seamstress and worked for Canoe Mfg. and retired from Wrights.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove. She had been a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and was a member of the Hawk Mountain Council. She loved making floral arrangements, working on numerous artistic projects, watching dancing with the stars and spending time with her grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, William Hendricks; two brothers, Stanley and Eugene Adams; and a sister, Esther Adams.
Surviving are two sons, William II and wife Margie Hendricks, Shawn and wife Melinda Hendricks, both of Pine Grove; 7 grandchildren, Seagey Renninger, Cassidy, Billy, Jeffrey, Rose, Elijah, and Joseph Hendricks; a great granddaughter, Aurora Stock; favorite nephew, Brock and wife Tara Adams of Richland; two nieces, Terri Crystal and Sheila Adams, both of Sarasota, FL.
Graveside Services and interment will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery with SALM John Ziegler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to Hillside SPCA, P. O. Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901 in her memory.
