Mark R. Bennyhoff, 54, of Walnut Street, Ashland, passed away Wednesday February 7, 2024, surrounded by his family, at his residence. Born in Palmerton, July 1, 1969, he is the son of Allane Bennyhoff Kistler, of Tamaqua, and the late Bruce Kistler Sr., passing December 5, 2023. Additional living father, Earl Holland Sr., Walnutport. Additional deceased parents were Allen and Shirley Bennyhoff of Jim Thorpe. He was a graduate of Jim Thorpe High School, class of 1987, and a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Ashland. Mark was a member of the North Schuylkill Youth Soccer Association, serving on the board of directors, and coach. He was also active with the Junior Spartan Basketball League, Ashland Softball, and the Ashland Little League. He was employed as a Service Technician for Simplex Grinnell of Allentown, until his retirement. Preceding Mark in death was a brother, David Bennyhoff.Survivors

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mark’s Life, Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11 AM, in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, North Ninth Street, Ashland. Officiating will be Rev. Dana Heckman Beil, Pastor. A viewing will be held in the church, Friday, February 9, 2024, beginning at 5 PM until 7 PM. Additional viewing time will be Saturday, beginning at 10 AM until the service. The family requests attendees wear red, black, and white, the colors of the Falcons Football Team. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the Shenandoah Community Ambulance, Shenandoah, PA 17976.
