A St. Clair woman is facing charges after an incident at a bar over the weekend.
According to St. Clair Borough Police, on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, officers were dispatch to the Buckhorn Cafe, on South Front Street, for a report of an intoxicated female.
Upon arrival, officers located a heavily intoxicated woman, identified as Jennifer Lee Freeman, 38, of St. Clair.
Freeman was uncooperative with officers and attempted to pull gear off of their duty vests. The caller told police at the scene that Freeman was causing a disturbance and was stripping her clothes off.
The officers also found a victim at the scene who said she was attacked by Freeman. The victim had to be transported to the hospital by EMS for a possible facial fracture as well as multiple lacerations to her lip, forehead, cheek, and eye area.
Police say while Freeman was detained, she continued to make statements that she "wished she hit the victim harder" and she "hoped the victim dies".
As a result of the incident St. Clair Police charged Freeman with simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct.
Freeman was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Andrew J. Serina, Orwigsburg, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
