One person was flown to the hospital after a rollover crash in Butler Township.
The crash occurred around 5:15pm, Monday when the driver of a Jeep lost control while heading west on Route 61 near the bottom of the Two-Miler hill in Butler Township.
The Jeep struck an embankment and rolled then struck and sheered a utility pole.
A passenger in the vehicle was reported to have suffered a serious injury and was transported to a landing zone and flown to an area hospital.
The driver and another passenger were not injured.
The Friendship Fire Company from Englewood and Good Will Fire Company responded to the scene of the crash along with Butler Township Police and West Mahanoy Township Police. The Lavelle Fire Company responded and assisted with the landing zone.
Route 61 was narrowed to one lane for approximately an hour until the scene was cleared.
