Bruce R. Heckman, 76, of York, formerly of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday, March 28th, at WellSpan York Hospital.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4th, at 11:00 At Trinity Lutheran Church, 300 W. Arch Street, Pottsville, with calling hours from 10:00 AM till the time of the service at the church.
Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Centralia, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Ryan) Berrigan. She was employed as a clerk and pharmacy tech for Rea & Derick Pharmacy in Mount Carmel and also worked at the Schuylkill Mall location until her retirement.
Ann was a 1957 graduate of the former Mount Carmel Catholic High School. She was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Frackville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward O’Connell with whom she married in August of 1960; her siblings: Sarah McCormick, John Berrigan Jr., Thomas Berrigan, Helen Kenneff, Joseph Berrigan and Mary Alice Tobias.
Ann is survived by her children: Edward O’Connell and his wife Susan, Frackville; James O’Connell and his wife Kathryn, Carlisle; Kelly Antalosky and her husband Russ, Frackville; Michael O’Connell and his wife Jennifer, Pottsville; her eight loving grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 5th from St. Joseph the Worker Parish (St. Ann’s Church) with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, pastor, as the celebrant. Friends are invited to her viewing on Friday morning at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of mass. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Roger R. Reed, 68, of Orwigsburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 28, while in the company of family at his home.
Roger was born in Pottsville, PA on September 20, 1955, a son of the late Marie Ann (Hollenbush) and Roy E. Reed. He was a 1973 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. He was employed as a Manufacturing Advisor at Tredegar, formerly Exxon Chemical, for over 25 years.
In his spare time, he enjoyed golf, vacations, playing games with his family, and spending time with his pets. Roger was known for his great conversations and ability to fix anything.
He was the husband of Carol (Foose) Reed. They were married on September 18, 1977.
In addition to Carol, his wife of 46 years, Roger is survived by a son, Christopher Reed (husband of Leigh), three daughters; Amy Reed, Ashley Nettles (wife of Donald), and Cari Quinter (wife of Justin).
He is also survived by his grandchildren Kyle and Brooklyn Nettles; Tristan Foster, Gabriel Quinter and Lena, Eli & Ava Reed.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a twin brother, Randy Reed, and brother David Reed.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 5 at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. in Orwigsburg. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roger’s name can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he was the son of the late Alfred T. and Nancy McKinnon Villa.
He attended schools in New York and was a College graduate. He was a Laboratory Technician with the state. He was a member of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Port Carbon.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Norma Gill Villa; 2 sons, Jose and Pascual Villa, both of Minersville; 2 grandsons, Jose E. Villa Jr., and Armando Villa both of Minersville; a granddaughter, Bayyinah Villa, New York, 2 great granddaughters Adianna N. Villa and Royally Smith; a sister Rita Villa Rosado.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 6pm from the 7th Day Adventist Church, Port Carbon. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 4pm to 6pm on Monday. Interment will beat the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville.
