Three Schuylkill County products are currently in the running for Pennsylvania Chamber's Coolest Thing Made in PA.
The Pennsylvania Chamber officially unveiled their "March Madness" style bracket that pits 64 Pennsylvania products in a tournament to determine Pennsylvania's coolest product.
In the running are Schuylkill County's own Mrs. T's Pierogies, Zimmerman Shoes, and Yuengling Lager. Mrs. T's Pierogies made it to the final round last year but came in 2nd to Pittsburgh's Primanti Bros.
Other notable items in this year's contest are
- Middleswarth Chips
- PSU Creamery Ice cream
- Seltzer Lebanon Bologna
- Utz Potato Chips
- Harley Davidson Motorcycles
- Crayola Crayons.
The first round of the tournament began Tuesday as well. To vote head on over the Pennsylvania Chamber Twitter account (https://twitter.com/PAChamber), and vote in the comments of the contest's post.
Yuengling faces off against Zimmerman Shoes and Mrs. T's Pierogies faces Pampers Diapers in the first round.
