According to Pottsville Police, on Thursday, March 14th, 2024, City Police began an investigation into the theft of a 2016 silver Nissan NV200 work van from the 500 block of North Centre Street.
At the time of the theft, the keys were inside the vehicle.
Surveillance video was obtained from the area which captured a male, later identified as David Kology, 53, of Philadelphia taking the vehicle.
On Thurdsay, March 21st, 2024, Philadelphia Police located the vehicle with Kology inside of it.
Kology was taken into custody and will be charged with theft of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property upon the completion of a joint investigation between Pottsville and Philadelphia Police.
