Firefighters made quick work of a garage fire in Butler Township on Friday afternoon.
Just after 2:30pm, emergency personnel were called to 355 Malones Road in Butler Township for a report of a garage fire.
The fire was then upgraded to a house fire and a 2nd alarm was issued after it was advised that the garage was underneath a home and the fire was spreading into the living area.
Firefighters arrived and found a lawnmower on fire inside the garage, pulled it outside and put out the fire with a water can.
The 2nd alarm was cancelled and responding units were held to Englewood Fire.
Firefighters remained on scene and ventilated the home. No major damage occurred.
