Leaders from Dorney Park delivered a ten-thousand dollar check on Thursday to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital.
The small presentation held in the hospital lobby in Allentown featured Snoopy, Dorney Park Vice President & General Manager Jessica Naderman, and Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital President Anne Baum.
Dorney Park says that the money for the donation was raised during their first ever Winter Chill Out event held back in March.
During that event guests, purchased a ticket for behind-the-scenes tours and a peak at the park’s new roller coaster, Iron Menace, with 100% of the proceeds going to the hospital.
Both Dorney Park and Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital are dedicated to raising funds to help with the healing, comfort, and care of our region’s children.
"We are honored to partner with Dorney Park through this exciting event as they bring together the community in anticipation of the Iron Menace roller coaster,” said Anne Baum, president of Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. “We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of Dorney Park's inspiring efforts which will support local patients and families and help us deliver exceptional care."
