Pottsville Man Wanted by Schuylkill County Detectives for Failing to Appear to Serve Prison Sentence

Schuylkill County Detectives are reaching out to the public to help in locating a fugitive from Pottsville with an active bench warrant.
Edwin Boakai Sherman, 35, stands at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 150 lbs. 

Sherman failed to report to Schuylkill County Prison on March 26, 2024, as mandated by the Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas. 

Sherman was sentenced on multiple charges including Driving while License is Suspended/Revoked (Multiple Offenses), Driving without a License, operating a vehicle without financial responsibility, and Driving an unregistered vehicle.

The last known address for Sherman is recorded as 610 West Norwegian Street, Pottsville, PA 17901.
