William Joseph Coyne, 68, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Sunday, March 31st, at his son's residence in Bel Air, MD.Born in Ashland on October 5, 1955, he was a son of the late James & Mary Rita (Colohan) Coyne. Bill is also preceded in death by two brothers: James & Thomas Coyne.
Married for 37 years, he was the husband of Paula Marie (Samec) Coyne.
Bill was a 1973 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School, and earned his bachelor's degree in business from Drexel University.
He was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville.
Bill worked as a technical expert for the Social Security Administration.
He enjoyed gardening, visiting State Parks, and spending time at the beach with his family.
In addition to his wife, Bill is also survived by his daughter, Carla S. Neuberger, wife of Brett, of Venetia, PA; two sons: Sean W. Coyne, husband of Janell, of Bel Air, MD; & James Coyne, husband of Savannah, of Apex, NC; four grandchildren: Owen & Amy Neuberger, and Patrick & Charlotte Coyne, his sister, Nora Coyne Cordero, of Ashland, brother, Michael Coyne, husband of Janie, of Selinsgrove; sister-in-law, Teresa Samec, Harrisburg, and several nieces & nephews.
A viewing will be held at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven, on Monday from 5-7 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville.
The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions in Bill's memory to ALS United Mid-Atlantic 1015 Virginia Dr., Suite 110 Fort Washington, PA 19034.

Born in Pottsville he was the son of the late James and Helen (Heaton) Kane. He was a 1968 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School and graduated from Penn State University in 1970 with a BS degree. He served with the United States Navy Reserve. He was a head start teacher for Child Development for more than forty years.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Patrick, Robert and James.
He is survived by his wife the former Judy Wheat, a daughter Molly Kane of Washington, PA a son Joseph and his fiancé" Vanessa Linkchorst of Mahanoy City, a granddaughter Nora Zourelias and two nephews Jason and Gavin Kane.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated by the Rev. Kevin P. Gallagher on Friday morning at 10 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Church in Mahanoy City.
Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Frackville. Friends may call at the church on Friday morning beginning at 9 AM. Contributions in his name to Child Development, 2880 Pottsville Minersville Highway, Suite 210, Minersville, PA 17954 would be appreciated at accepted at the visitation.

Lorraine M. Hamilton, 54, of Pottsville, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at Geisinger-St. Luke’s in Orwigsburg.
Born in Philadelphia on December 1, 1969, she was the daughter of Margaret “Peg” Gamber.
Lorraine was the wife of the late Gregory Hamilton. They married in 1995 and were happily married for 15 years until Gregory’s passing in 2010. During that time, they remodeled a
Victorian home together in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.
Lorraine was a Baptist and of the Christian faith.
She graduated from Roxborough High School in 1987, and last worked as a receptionist. Lorraine had a deep affection for animals, especially bluebirds, bunnies, and her cats. Her love for her cat late Dandelion was particularly strong. In memory of Dandelion, Lorraine's Cancer Support Group was named Dandelion Wish. In her last days, Lorraine wished to be reunited with her beloved husband Greg and Dandelion in the afterlife. She adored the autumn season, enjoyed listening to music, and was a big fan of the band Sisters of Mercy. Lorraine will always be remembered for her grace and her love for fashion and beauty.
Surviving are; mother Margaret “Peg” Gamber, and children Andrew and Willow Hamilton, Pottsville; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services and internment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Nicholas C Ziegenfuss, 47 years of age a long time resident of Coaldale, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem.
Born Friday, October 22, 1976 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Ray A., and Dorothy A. (DiGilio) Ziegenfuss. Nicholas was also predeceased by; brother, Michael C. Ziegenfuss.
Surviving are brothers, Ray Allen Ziegenfuss, Frederick James Ziegenfuss. Nieces and nephews also survive Nicholas.
Nicholas attended Panther Valley School, and Carbon Career and Technical Institute. Nicholas was and ardent fan of WWE professional wrestling and the Kansas City Chiefs Football team. In his spare time Nicholas enjoyed playing on his play station.

Joyce S. Kahler, 82, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024 at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove, PA.
She was born on April 8, 1941, in Pitman, PA, the daughter of John & Viola (Kline) Jones.
She attended Tri-Valley Schools and married Willard Kahler in 1959. They were long time residents of Dornsife.
She worked at Snyder's Greenhouse, Leck Kill, while raising her children, later working at various local factories.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Kahler, in 2020, and grandson Aaron Deitrich, in 2015, as well as brothers Harold and Ronald Jones, and sisters Marie Snyder, Arlene Clark, and Velma Zartman.
She is survived by daughters, Debra, and husband John Eisenhart of Middleburg; Sheila, and husband John Deitrich of Hegins; and son Ty Kahler and wife Heather, and step-grandson, Colson Michael, of Bellefonte; also a brother, Mark Jones, Sunbury.
She enjoyed her daily newspaper, reading Amish novels, shopping, and especially laughing with the ladies at Georgetown Heights, Dalmatia. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and fiesty personality.
Per the wishes of Willard & Joyce, there will be no service.
Burial will be made in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Leck Kill.

Theresa Sophie (Legutko) Vigoda, age 102, of Schoentown, PA, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Born in Schoentown on April 18, 1921, Theresa lived there her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Stella (Otfinowski) Legutko.
Theresa attended St. Stephen Catholic School in Port Carbon.PA. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Cumbola, PA, where she was President of the Holy Rosary Society for 23 years until the church closed in 2008. She was also active in many church activities. She then became a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in New Philadelphia, PA.
Theresa worked in several garment factories as a presser for 14 years. She loved to press clothes and enjoyed the simple things of life. She dearly loved her family and children and always looked forward to their visits and get-togethers with relatives and friends. Many holidays, birthdays and occasions were celebrated at her home. Theresa went on many vacations with her daughters and family. She was a kind-hearted woman who instilled good values in her children and family.
The was the last surviving member of her immediate family, being preceded in death by her loving husband Michael in 1991 with whom she celebrated 45 years of marriage, her parents, and her 10 siblings.
Theresa is survived by 5 children: Michael Vigoda Jr. and his wife Charlotte Bubon, Coaldale, Nancy and her husband Michael Postic, Orwigsburg, Regina and her husband Scott Brady, Florida, Theresa Marie Vigoda and her husband Paul Petry, Hamburg, and Bernard Vigoda and his wife Janine, Port Carbon. She was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, April 5th, from 6-8PM and Saturday from 9-10AM at Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, 208 Pike Street, Port Carbon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 99 Valley Street, New Philadelphia at 10:30AM on Saturday, April 6th, with Msgr. Edward Zemanik. Interment will be held in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Port Carbon.

Betty Grace Williard, age 95, of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on February 22, 1929, in Eldred Twp, a daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Gertie V. Kehler.
She attended Kehler's School in Eldred Twp.
She was a homemaker and a farmers wife, then worked at the Twin Valley Farmers Exchange.
Betty was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins.
She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James H. Maurer, second husband, Roy D Williard, son, Harold J Maurer, brothers, Lester, Lewis, Franklin, Albert, and Ralph Kehler, sisters, Helen Wetzel, Marie Stehr, Martha Nagle, and Orpha Harter.
She is survived by three daughters, Darlene J Klouser of Valley View, Patsy and husband Larry Miller of Valley View, Ruth and husband James Fetterolf of Ashland; two sons, David and wife Jennifer Maurer of Valley View; Joel and wife Joanne Williard of Pottsville; daughter in law, Mary Maurer of Bernville; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Knapp of Tower City, Mary Jane Herb of Valley View; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hegins on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Benjamin Scholl officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Pitman.

Charles T. "Chuck" Rodgers, husband, dad, grandfather, brother, 63 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 30, 1960 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Charles J., and Ilene A. (Moser) Rodgers.
Surviving are; his wife of 42 years, JoAnn (Kutcher) Rodgers; daughter, Melissa M. Smith, wife of Eric; son, Thomas C. Rodgers and his wife Ashley; sisters, Kim I. Rodgers and her wife Michele Killian, Michele A. Weaver, Beth A. Yarnell; brother, Brian W. Rodgers and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Lucas, Aubrey, Lilly, and Myra. Many nieces and nephews also survive Chuck.
A Tamaqua High School graduate class of 1979 Chuck answered a call to public service as a young man. He was an active member of the Tamaqua Ambulance Assoc., Tamaqua Rescue Squad, and South Ward Fire Company. Chuck was currently working as a Public Safety Officer for Lehigh Valley Health Network at the Hazleton Campus. He previously held positions with Lehigh Carbon Community College Tamaqua Campus, and St. Luke's University Health System. Chuck served as a Pa. State Constable for over 35 years. He and JoAnn owned and operated her family's appliance business, Kutcher's TV and Appliance in Tamaqua for 12 years. Chuck volunteered his time unselfishly renovating the community Christmas decorations, and as an advocate for the Drug Buster Rally held annually in the Tamaqua Schools. He also served as Animal Control Officer in Tamaqua for many years. Chuck belonged to the West Penn Rod & Gun Club, the F.O.P. and the Schuylkill County Constable's Association. When he wasn't working security at the Tamaqua Area sporting events, he volunteered his time working the chains on the sidelines for the Tamaqua Blue Raiders home football games.
If Chuck wasn't attending one of his grandchildren's various activities, he would take refuge in his newly built garage which he was so proud of. Here he would work on cars and other small engines with the companionship of his dogs, Lacie, Mia, and Molly.
