Butler Township Police are looking for a van and its driver after a hit and run near Fountain Springs Saturday evening.
Around 9:00pm, Saturday, emergency personnel were called to Route 61/Fountain Street in the area of North Schuylkill for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.
Police and fire personnel responded and learned the incident involved a teen on a bicycle that was struck by a white commercial van.
The driver failed to stop and fled the scene towards Fountain Springs.
The teen suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
The van sustained passenger side damage and should be missing a passenger side mirror.
UPDATE (11:55pm): Butler Township Police have located the vehicle.
