The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville conducted a DUI operation in West Mahanoy Township on Friday night that included several arrests.
According to State Police, a DUI Checkpoint was originally scheduled but due to the weather, it was converted to a DUI Roving Detail in the area of South Lehigh Avenue and Altamont Boulevard in West Mahanoy Township.
During the operation, 2 arrests were made involving suspicion of driving under the influence, one for the alcohol and one for drugs including possession of fentanyl.
Four citations were issued, and 10 warnings were given.
