Attention Runners! The Gordon Fire Company will host their 2nd Annual "Fighting 400" 5K on Sunday.
The event will take place the morning of Sunday, May 26th, 2024, with 5K at 10:00am and the fun run/walk beginning at 11:00am at the fire company.
The event will be followed by a Community Day at the fire company that will include food trucks and live music.
The 5K, will leave the fire company at 10:00am, follow Otto Street, left onto McKnight Street, right onto Hobart Street, left onto Biddle Street, right onto Mountain Road, right onto Wyncoop Avenue, to Charles Avenue, left onto McKnight, left on Biddle Street, right onto Kennedy Street, right onto Elm Street, and left onto Plane Street to return to the fire company.
The walk/fun run route, will leave the fire company at 11:00am, follow Otto Street, left on McKnight Street, right onto Hobart Street, right onto Biddle Street, Right onto Mcknight Street, and left onto Otto Street back to the fire company.
The first-place male and female finishers will receive special medals.
The proceeds of the event go directly back to the fire company.
