As of 12:30pm, Wednesday, Route 42 remains closed in Centralia for an overturned tractor trailer.
The incident occurred around 9:30am on the hill between Centralia and Aristes when a tractor trailer coming down the hill, lost control, hit several utilities poles and overturned in front of the Centralia Firehouse.
A large fuel spill also occurred.
Units from Centralia, Aristes, and Mount Carmel were at the scene. Ashland units were also dispatched but cancelled before arriving.
The driver was reported not to be injured.
