Parking Restrictions and Street Closures Announced for Saturday's Schuylkill County Volunteer Fireman’s Convention Parade in Pottsville

Pottsville Police have announced parking restrictions for this Saturday's Schuylkill County Fireman's Convention Parade.

On Saturday May 11, 2024, at 2pm, the Schuylkill County Fireman’s Convention Parade will be hosted by the Pottsville Fire Department. 

The following streets will have parking restrictions starting at 9:00am on Saturday morning:

• West Market Street from North Centre Street to 20th Street
• West End Ave from 16th Street to Westwood Road
• Elk Ave from 18th Street to King
• 3rd Street from West Market to Laurel Boulevard
• Laurel Boulevard from 3rd Street to North Centre Street
• North Centre Street from Laurel Boulevard to Mauch Chunk Street
• Norwegian Street from Centre Street to 5th Street,
• South 2nd Street from West Market to Mahantongo Street

Street closures will begin at 12:00pm for the parade which starts at 18th and West Market Streets. The parade will proceed to North 3rd Street traveling to Laurel Boulevard, to North Centre Street, and ending at Norwegian Street.
