Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced two maintenance projects set to take place this week in Schuylkill County.
Beginning Monday, May 13, 2024, PennDOT Maintenance Forces will begin litter removal operations along Interstate 81, spanning from the Lebanon County Line to the Luzerne County Line. The project will require lane closures where work is taking place.
Work will take place from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with an estimated completion date of Friday, May 17.
In Norwegian Township, PennDOT will begin pothole patching along PA 61, extending from Mill Creek Avenue to Hamilton Street. Lane closures are expected during the day while work takes place.
