On Sunday, May 26th, 2024, the Gordon Fire Company held their 2nd Annual "Fighting 400" 5K.
97 athletes competed in the race that wound it's way through the street's of the borough of Gordon.
Last year's winner, Colin Ahrensfield, of Ashland, repeated as he finished 1st with a time of 19:26 followed by Victor Hanley, John Reilly, Steve Templin, and Genevieve Dando to round out the top 5.
Dando, 13, of Gordon, was the first female to cross the finish line. She was also the first female to cross the finish line last year.
The event supports the Gordon Fire Company.
