Lois A Bennick, age 73, of Hegins, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at her residence.She was born on Christmas morning 1950, in Pottsville, a daughter of Ivan C Klinger and Pauline E (Dietrich) Klinger of Valley View.
Lois was a 1968 graduate of Tri-Valley High. She was also a graduate of Ford Business School and Bucknell University.
She was a banker at Hegins National Bank, American Bank, Meridian Bank, First Union Bank, Core States Bank, Wachovia Bank, and retired from Wells Fargo Bank, after 43 total years of employment.
She was a member of the Church of God, Valley View and attended St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
Lois was very active in many area groups and organizations. She enjoyed traveling, crafts, line dancing, roller skating, and spending time with her family. Lois lived a life full of family, friends, and adventures. Most problems were fixed with a healthy dose of chocolate..
She is survived by her husband Paul A Bennick, married on a snowy Valentines Day 1970.
Surviving in addition to her parents and her husband are three sons, Brian P Bennick and his wife Susan of Sarver, PA, Kevin M Bennick and his wife Dennell of Cumming, GA, and Todd A Bennick of Burson, CA; six grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron, Cole, Annalese, Kingston, and Charlotte; a brother, Shawn R Klinger and his wife Penny of Weishample; a sister, Dr. Rita E Klinger of Hegins; and two nephews and a niece.
Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Suzanne Elliott officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the church.
Burial will be in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.

Born Saturday, August 29, 1942 the daughter of the late Paul, and Margaret (McGinley) Gernert. She was also predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Larry Mehallic on Feb 21, 2015; son Gunnar J. Mehallic on Sept. 22, 2007; sister, Geraldine Mcclean and her late husband Sammy; brother, Ronald Gernert.
Surviving are son, Larry G. Mehallic and his companion Penny Ulrich; daughter, Shannon Dmytrow wife of Ron; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Lillian Gernert. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive Joan.
A member of Christ Church of McKeansburg, Joan retired from Techna Plastics of Lehighton, and had previously worked at Plain & Fancy Egg Farm of Tamaqua. A devoted Elvis fan, Joan enjoyed traveling to Elvis themed events, doing puzzle books, and spending time with her cats, Angel and Momma Cat.

Dolores A. Troxell, beloved mother, grandmother, sister 78 years of age of Locust Lane Andreas, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania after a brief illness.
Born Thursday, December 6, 1945 in Lehighton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Charles, and Mildred M. (Helfrich) Lusch. Dolores was also predeceased by; her husband Burdell L. Troxell on March 1, 2015; sisters, Doris Lusch, Nancy M. Schulty; brothers, Russel F., John W., Roy, and Ray C. Lusch.
Surviving are sons, Randy B. Troxell and his wife Jolene of Andreas, Dennis W. Troxell and his wife Mary of Tamaqua; daughters, Laurie A. Galloway wife of Charles of Lansford Carol A. Fritz wife of Kevin M. of New Ringgold; brothers, Earl Lusch of Andreas, Ronald L. Lusch and his wife Karen of Lehighton; grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Nadine, Shawn and his wife Amy, Jessica, Amanda and her companion Sean, Taylor and her fiance Bryce, Austin; great grandchildren, Temperance, Harmony, Rebecca, Grace, Alexis, Kolton; sister-in-law, Doris Lusch. Many nieces and nephews also survive Dolores.
A long tenured member of Ben Salem Church of Lehighton, Dolores was an active member of the catering society. Born and raised on a farm Dolores began milking cows at the age of 12. She supported and assisted her husband Burdell operating their farm in Andreas which is now operated by her sons. Dolores, enjoyed the beauty of the farm, her home was a landing spot for family and friends, and often she would have baked goods awaiting. Dolores enjoyed the companionship of her dog Buddy.

Walter E. "Sonny" Haggerty, Jr., 81 years of age of Lehighton, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at St. Luke's Carbon Campus in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
Born Tuesday, June 16, 1942 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania the son of the late Walter E. Sr., and Dorothy (Woodring) Haggerty. Sonny was also predeceased by; sisters, Mary E. Rita, and Rose Marie Porambo; brother, Bruce Haggerty.
Surviving are; his beloved wife of 55 years, Dolores E. (Dyrda) Haggerty; sons, Scott Fertallly and his wife Gloria, Shawn T. Haggerty and his wife Natalie, Kyle P. Haggerty and his wife Michelle; sisters, JoAnn Myers wife of Charles, Judy Werner wife of Jim; grandchildren, Mark, Haley, Riley, Kristen, and Megan. Many nieces and nephews also survive Sonny.
A 1960 graduate of Tamaqua Area high School, Sonny retired from Boyle Associates having worked as a construction manager for 19 years. An accomplished drummer, Sonny played in numerous local bands in the 1960's, the Shantones, and TGIF Review. Sunny enjoyed cutting grass and tending to his home.

Kenneth N. Moyer, 83, of Tremont, passed away Tuesday, May 14th, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Pottstown on October 7, 1940, he was the son of the late Emma (Grub) Frankenburg and Newton Moyer.
Kenny was the widower of Katie M. Moyer.
He attended Boyertown High School.
Kenny served in the U.S. Army.
He was last employed as a maintenance worker in the powerhouse of Reading Hospital.
Kenny is survived by three daughters, Lori, wife of Gary Keefer, Cindy, wife of Warren Barlet, and Kathy, wife of David Ammon; two sons, Kenneth R. Moyer and Brian, husband of Jade Moyer; a sister, Gloria Kramer; and brother, George Frankenburg. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren whom he truly adored.
In addition to his wife and parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by brothers, Charles and John Moyer, and sister, Mary Murray.
At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Advantage Home Health and Hospice, 1502 Route 61 Hwy S Pottsville, PA 17901.
Services are private at the convenience of family.
