Kay K. Boyer, 87, of Oak Grove Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 in Hershey Medical Center.Born on February 25, 1937 in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Harry E. and Verna M. Fegley Kramer.
She was a 1955 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
Kay was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.
She loved spending time with her family, especially for picnics and parties.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 68 years, Dion T. Boyer on May 18, 2024 and a brother, Harry S. "Duff" Kramer.
Surviving are two daughters, Terry and husband John Schaeffer of Pine Grove, Tammy and husband Lynn Fidler of Asheville, NC; a son, Troy and wife Dianne Boyer of Lebanon; 8 grandchildren, Fawn, Brook, John, Ashley, Austin, Taylor, Brock, and Jordyn; 11 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
All Services for both Kay and Dion will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Reformed Cemetery, Ravine.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in her memory.

Harold C. "Smokey" Engleman, Jr., 65 years of age, of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Born Friday, August 22, 1958 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Harold E. Sr., and Verdemae (Schaeffer) Engleman. Smokey was also predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernadine M. (Kufrovich) Engleman.
Surviving are; his son, Joshua H. Engleman and his wife Katie of Wilmington, NC; sister, Norene "Pinkey" Valentini and her husband Marc; niece, Jennifer Evans and her husband Shannon, and their son Hunter.
A 1976 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Smokey worked many years at Sealy in Delano, and last worked for Cabela's in Hamburg. A fisherman, Smokey was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Yankees, and Penn State Football.
Smokey endured much loss, and illness in the last few years; however he soldiered on for he and Bernie where devoted parents who parented by the motto "Do as I say not by what I've done"; Josh followed the mantra and became a terrific man who they both took immense pride in.

Mary Jane A. (Dinsmore) Scarpati, 87, of Williamsport and formerly of McAdoo, PA passed away on Thursday afternoon at The Williamsport Home.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Dragonette) Chomo.
Mary Jane was a member of St. Lawrence R.C. Church and a former member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
She was a graduate of McAdoo High School, class of 1954.
Mary Jane worked a number of careers before retiring as a claims representative with the Social Security Administration in 2001.
During her retirement she enjoyed traveling and was a talented seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed music and attended many live shows with friends and family. She enjoyed sports and was a 30+ year Penn State Football season ticket holder and a New York Yankee fan. She volunteered with many organizations including Hospice and Prime Timers, and she enjoyed her life-long friends working with the McAdoo High School Reunion Committee.
Her main love, as it was throughout her lifetime, was spending time with her family. She was a devoted mother and later enjoyed being ‘Granny’ to her grandchildren and watching them grow into young adults.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husbands, Robert L. Dinsmore and Harmon M. Scarpati; sons, Ronald Dinsmore and David Scarpati; and grandson, Gabriel J. Dinsmore.
Surviving are her sons, James J. Dinsmore and wife Susan of Cogan Station and Jeffrey J. Dinsmore and wife Kimberly of Lancaster; grandchildren, Ian and Joseph Dinsmore and Hannah Dinsmore; stepchildren, Michael Scarpati and wife Brenda of Tyree Island, GA, Susan Scarpati of Philadelphia, and Louise Scarpati of Birmingham, MI; and step-grandchildren Tracy Scarpati and Michael Scarpati and wife Lauren; step-great-grandchildren Matthew, Emily and Anna Scarpati; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Her funeral will be held Monday, June 3. Rev. Msgr. William Baker will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial in Church of All Saints, McAdoo, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, McAdoo.
A calling hour will be held Monday, June 3, from 10 to 11 a.m. in the church.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Williamsport Home for their loving care of Mary Jane.
