Schuylkill Gives: A 24-Hour Online Giving Event to Support Local Nonprofits

Wednesday is the start of Schuylkill Area Community Foundation's 5th Annual Schuylkill Gives event, set to begin at noon on May 8th and culminate at noon on May 9th.

This 24-hour online giving initiative aims to bring support for registered nonprofits serving Schuylkill County.

Since March, Schuylkill County nonprofits have been invited to register for participation. The foundation ensured that all participating nonprofits have undergone verification by a third-party processor to confirm the validity of their government documents.

As the event kicks off, donors can visit www.schuylkillgives.com to peruse information about each of the 35 participating nonprofits, gaining insight into their missions and ongoing projects. Donors are encouraged to support multiple nonprofits by adding donations to their basket and finalizing transactions during the event's duration.
