On Monday, April 15, 2024, the Valley View/Tri-Valley Lions Club honored Landon Beers as their April 2024 Outstanding Student of the Arts.
Landon was selected for his talent in the area of musical instruments and wearable art.
Landon is the son of Tomi and Tim Beers. He is a senior at Tri-Valley High School in the academic curriculum. He shared with members and visitors present his talent by performing excerpts from “March of the Belgian Paratroopers” and “Western Overture” on the saxophone and oboe.
He likes to learn to play new instruments more than playing music. He likes wearable art, like his shoes, jacket, and bookmarks.
His activities and extracurricular, and after school activities are varied and include music and participating in all the musicals throughout high school, senior high band, track and field where he participated in throwing javelin, shotput, and discus as a senior, and artistic interests. He is employed at Redner’s.
After graduation Landon plans to attend Susquehanna University and major in Psychology and Philosophy.
