Sen. Dave Argall (R-29) and Rep. JoAnne Stehr (R-107) will host an event where damaged or illegible license plates can be replaced for free on Friday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pine Grove Borough Building, 1 Snyder Ave., Pine Grove, PA 17963.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is required by law to replace license plates free of charge if they are deemed illegible by law enforcement or a certified inspection mechanic. A local police officer will be on hand to inspect license plates and sign the appropriate form.
Registration is required for this event to ensure officers are available to conduct the inspections. To RSVP, call 570-773-0891.
