Home Health Aide Charged with Stealing Nearly $7,000 from St. Clair Client

A home health aide is facing charges for stealing nearly $7,000 from a client in Schuylkill County last year.

According to St. Clair Police, Natasha Twigg, 40, of Pottsville has been charged felony with Financial Exploitation of Older Adult or Care Dependent Person and Receiving Stolen Property.

St. Clair Police say they were contacted in regard to a report of a home health aide, Twigg, misusing funds.  The victim's son reported that $6,922.32 was misused.

An investigation by police showed that in June and July of 2023, Twigg used the money without authorization for gambling, ATM withdrawals, and Amazon purchases.

St. Clair Police Officer Owen Webber filed the charges on June 26th, 2024, through Magisterial District Judge David Plachko's office.

Twigg is scheduled to appear before Judge Plachko for a preliminary hearing on July 16th, 2024.
