On Tuesday evening, the borough of Minersville honored three individuals for their heroic actions during a recent fire.
The incident occurred on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 600 block of North 2nd Street in Minersville in response to a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with a severe blaze engulfing three homes and multiple victims trapped on rooftops.
