Over 9,500 Schuylkill homes are without power on Wednesday evening after severe storms pushed through.
As of 7:00pm, PPL is reporting that 9,681 home are in the dark.
The largest outages are reported to be in the Ashland/Butler Township area, Porter Township, Pottsville, West Penn Township, and Rush Township.

PPL is reporting that power is expected to be restored by 11:00pm, Thursday.
Parts of St. Clair are also without power, they are not part of the PPL grid.
