Last Monday night saw the return of Pottsville's Public Safety Night Out, an annual event that brings the community and first responders together for an evening of education and engagement.
This year's event featured an array of apparatus and vehicles, providing residents with a unique opportunity to get an up-close look at the tools and equipment used by those who keep the community safe. The Pottsville Fire Department showcased its impressive fire apparatus, while the Pottsville Police Department and Schuylkill County Sheriff's Office displayed their police vehicles.
The event also included specialized equipment from the Schuylkill Hose Co. Dive Team, a MedEvac helicopter from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, and an ambulance from Schuylkill EMS.
