The Girl Scout Gold Award is a significant milestone in a Girl Scout’s journey. It challenges girls to identify an issue in their community, research the topic thoroughly, and develop a sustainable solution. This award not only honors the individual’s achievements but also highlights their capacity to effect positive change in their community. Projects that earn the Gold Award must demonstrate a lasting impact and address a community need, showcasing the recipient's ability to take action and lead.
Ava's Gold Award Project was called sensory solutions, a project that focused on the sensory needs of children while visiting local libraries.
Ava Antz, of Shenandoah Heights, received the award and pin from her godmother Tracy Dudash.
