The Shenandoah Valley School District Public Relations Department and the Shenandoah Public Library have agreed to partner with each other by having a collection of past yearbooks on display for the public to view.
The yearbooks which are from both Shenandoah and Shenandoah Valley High Schools go back to the twenties and extend to current times. These books will be available for the public to view but may not be taken from the library. Yearbooks are also on display at the Greater Shenandoah Area Historical Society located at 201 South Main Street by appointment. There is also a rather complete collection of scrap books containing newspaper clippings along with yearbooks from Shenandoah Catholic and West Mahanoy Township. Plans are currently being discussed to have public relations packets on display consisting of newspaper articles that will be labeled by months and years.
If you have any questions regarding this project, please call SV Public Relations Director Bob Yudinsky at 570-462-2609 or bobyudin@hotmail.com
