The beaches at both Tuscarora and Locust Lake State Parks in Schuylkill County to swimming.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) closed both beaches effective Tuesday, June 25, 2024, because of resampling requirements.
As a precaution, the beach will remain closed until acceptable water sample results are received.
DCNR has posted signs at the beach. Other activities such as camping, picnicking, hiking and fishing are not impacted by the beach closures.
