A woman was transported to the hospital after a crash in Frackville on Tuesday morning.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 8:00am in the area of 215 South Lehigh Avenue.
Troopers say Sandra Helwig, 70, of Frackville was driving north on South Lehigh Avenue in a Chevrolet Malibu when she veered to the right side of the roadway and struck a parked Hyundai Tucson.
The right side of Helwig's Malibu struck the rear left side of the Tuscon. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
Helwig suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital by Frackville Ambulance.
