St. Clair is in the dark again late Sunday/early Monday.
The power went out again just after 10:00pm when trees fell and knocked down wires on Ann Street in Norwegian Township between St. Clair and Pottsville.
Emergency personnel were called to shut down the roadway and eventually were released when long term signage was brought in.
As of midnight, PPL was reporting 64 customers were without power but that did not include St. Clair, who operates their own power grid. The outage also included the stores in the Coal Creek Commerce Plaza including Walmart.
PPL is stating that power is expected to be restored by 5:30am, Monday.
This is the third power outage in the St. Clair area in less than 2 weeks. Other outages included one on June 21st and then the outage on June 26th.
UPDATE: Power was restored to the St. Clair area just before 5:00am.
