Route 209 is closed Sunday morning in Branch Township after a tree knocked down power lines.
Around 3:00am, emergency personnel were called to a tree on wires in the area of 868 Bunting Street/Route 209 near Llewellyn.
Further dispatch reported a tree down blocking the roadway.
PPL was dispatched and PennDOT would later be requested to close the road for an extended closure.
As of 8:00am, PPL is reporting that approximately 370 are without power in Branch Township and Route 209 remains closed.
Power is expected to be restored by 11:00am, Sunday.
