FBI and State Agents Assist in Shenandoah Drug Bust

A Shenandoah man is behind bars following a drug bust. 

Pedro Juan Villot-Ortiz, 23, of 209 West Cherry Street, was arrested Thursday, July 25th, 2024 and charged with two counts of felony delivery of fentanyl pills and two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver fentanyl pills.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Villot-Ortiz's residence at 5:25 p.m. Thursday. During the operation, Villot-Ortiz attempted to flee through his backyard but was apprehended by law enforcement.

District Judge Anthony Kilker arraigned Villot-Ortiz, setting his bail at $100,000. He has since been committed to Schuylkill County Prison.

The Shenandoah Police were assisted in this operation by agents from the FBI Allentown and narcotics agents from the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General.
