PennDOT has announced that Grier Avenue in Rush Township, will be closed for railroad crossing replacement work this week.
The work will be performed by Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Railroad from July 15, 2024, to July 19, 2024.
The closure will affect the section of Grier Avenue between Interstate 81 and PA 54. The road will be closed 24 hours a day during this period, with work taking place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Traffic will be detoured via PA 54 and Interstate 81.
