Northeast Pennsylvania celebrity and WNEP meteorologist Joe Snedeker spent his Wednesday cycling through Schuylkill County as part of his annual Go Joe 27 event.
Joe’s yearly bike ride, now in its 27th year, kicked off Wednesday morning in Sacramento, where he conducted a live morning broadcast before setting off on his route. Throughout the morning, he pedaled through the communities of Hegins Township, Newtown, Branchdale, Llewellyn, Minersville, and Pottsville. He made a scheduled stop for a live noon broadcast at the Cressona Picnic Grove.
In the afternoon, Joe resumed his ride, starting at Frackville Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. His route took him through New Boston, Hometown, Tamaqua, and Coaldale before he left Schuylkill County and entered Lansford, concluding his day's journey in Nesquehoning.
Everywhere Joe traveled, he was greeted by enthusiastic crowds, highlighting the strong community support and excitement surrounding the event.
