The National Amusement Park Historical Association (NAPHA) released the results of its 38th annual NAPHA Amusement Park and Attractions Survey. The survey is the oldest of its type.
Some of the attractions seizing the top ratings in the 2023 NAPHA survey include:
- Favorite Traditional Amusement Park: Knoebels Amusement Resort (Elysburg, PA)
- Favorite Theme Park: Dollywood (Pigeon Forge, TN)
- Most Beautiful Park: Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Williamsburg, VA) for the 34th consecutive year
- Favorite Wood Coaster: Phoenix, Knoebels Amusement Resort (Elysburg, PA), for the twelfth year in a row
- Favorite Steel Coaster: Tied between Millennium Force (Cedar Point, Sandusky OH) and Phantom’s Revenge (Kennywood, West Mifflin, PA)
- Favorite New Attraction: Tied between Big Bear Mountain (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, TN) and Wildcat’s Revenge (Hersheypark, Hershey, PA).
