Officer Clinton wrote that on that date, along with Officer Smith, he was dispatched to the High Rise Apartments at 10 West Centre Steet for a man attempting to enter the building and who also defecated in public.
Upon arriving, Roberts was found sitting on a bench outside the building.
Multiple witnesses reported that Roberts attempted to gain access to the building to use the bathroom, but residents knew he no longer lived there and wouldn't let him in. Roberts then reportedly walked across the street, went behind a bush to defecate and urinate on a sidewalk.
Roberts was taken into custody, arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew Serina and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $5,000 straight cash bail.
